Dear Neighbors,

We look forward to meeting many of you in March.
Our agenda for March include updates from Kirkland's Department of Public Works.

1. Betsy Adams will talk about upcoming Natural Yard Care Workshops

2. Noel Schoneman will talk about Neighborhood Traffic Calming.

3. Rod Steitzer will talk about NE 124th Street and 124th Avenue Intersection Improvements

This is our neighborhood and only we can make it better by getting involved.
We are always looking to add to our current volunteer team and have openings on our board.
If you have an interest, please contact us at [masked].

Sincerely,
Your Juanita Neighborhoods board members

    •  To the administrator - please make sure the online notices are up to date. This meet up was clearly not supposed to happen yet it was posted online. 3 of us showed up just in case...but no one else did. On the positive...at least I got to meet 2 other people in the Juanita area who were willing to come out to a community event.
    •  The date of this meetup, today, was not updated to reflect that the meeting was not taking place. So, 3 of us (at least) showed up but the meeting was not held as the organizer was not present, nor was anyone else. To the organizer - please keep the calendar up to date so members do not take time out of their schedules to make it to a meeting that is not even happening.
    •  Well, this time it was cancelled when I arrived and no one was there. I know there was VERY few RSVPs this time, but an e-mail/call/SMS that the meeting actually was cancelled would have been great. The flip side is that it is very sad that so very few people are interested in what's going on in their (this) neighborhood. The only ones that can change the 'hood for the better is the peolpe living here and it helps staying informed and taking part in the only meet that is "sanctioned" by our city.
